i remember being in school when the teacher explained to us how caterpillars became butterflies. she showed us this movie about the larvae and then the butterlies flying away. she told us that the caterpillar and butterfly were the perfect example of how we may start out in life as one thing and end up as something completly different. 'i hope you understand what i am trying to show you' she told us. all of the children nodded their heads and then i nodded mine. unlike the other kids i did not want to be a caterpillar that turns into a butterfly. i wanted to be a school teacher that smoked a lot of drugs.
