there was this kid on the bus. he couldn't have been more than a year and a half. as the bus got near KFC his eyes lit up and he said 'chiffen'. his dad laughed and the mother said 'that's right Kentucky' followed by 'what's next to Kentucky?'. the kid looked out the window and saw the golden arches and said 'mawono's'. the parents laughed some more. the whole thing had a contagious effect on the other passengers and they all started laughing. i even started laughing. not cause the kid knew all the fast food joints - that part was rather sad, but because while the people were laughing and distracted by the little kid i was able to really work on my pick-pocketing skills.
